Central America concluded

Am sat in San Salvador airport trying to kill 7 hours, so thought I’d try and write something to tie together the last 5 and a bit weeks.

Don’t worry, nothing profound.

Highlights have been anything to do with the nature here. These are the things that I’ve tried to prioritise. I imagine if I were to come back in twenty years, nowhere near as much access/ involvement would be allowed at places like Semuc Champey (5.3.1) or the ATM cave (6.6), so I was especially keen to bite the bullet and get myself along to them.

To an extent, beaches and old towns can wait. This has been the main takeaway from the region and has directed my thoughts on travels in the South.
