Financial Times: Entrepreneurs do like to be beside the seaside


The Financial Times covers our latest report From ebb to flow: how entrepreneurs can turn the tide for seaside towns.

A report by the Centre for Entrepreneurs think-tank says backing such business people, improved transport links, supporting local schools and colleges, and investing in superfast broadband could stop the decline of former resorts.

“Just as entrepreneurs built seaside towns, we believe that it is the invention and drive of entrepreneurs that can revive them,” says Luke Johnson, the one time PizzaExpress owner who chairs the centre.
