The Centre for Entrepreneurs launched a major report Tuesday (4th March), in partnership with DueDil, on the contribution to the UK economy made by immigrant entrepreneurs.
The report cites that one in seven UK companies are set up by migrants – nearing 500,000 companies in total. The report – called ‘Migrant entrepreneurs: building our businesses, creating our jobs’ – is available on www.creatingourjobs.org.
The launch achieved significant media coverage including, on radio: Wake Up to Money (BBC Radio 5), Today programme (BBC Radio 4) and LBC Radio, plus a mention on BBC TV’s Newsnight. Press coverage included: Financial Times (page 3, half page), The Times, Telegraph, The Independent, Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Daily Star (page 2).
The vertical press coverage included: Management Today, Business Zone, Startups, London Loves Business.
And internationally, we achieved: The Times of India, Hindustan Times, India Times.
